Depression is a serious illness; it is not something you have made up in your head so you should take the signs very seriously. It can slowly creep up on you and can affect some people for years if they don’t take action and do something to fight back.

Depression is usually triggered by a traumatic event and from there onwards it tends to be all downhill, if left untreated.
