Reiki Shares
We will be running Reiki Shares on the first Wednesday of each Month (commencing 1st June) at the Zentist in Harrogate starting at 7pm. Anyone attuned to any level of Reiki or Seichem is welcome. The shares are free, but a contribution to charity would be appreciated.
Reiki Courses and Attunements
Level 1 Reiki TBA
A relaxing full day session during which you will be attuned to level 1 Reiki practitioner and conduct your first healing sessions. This will effectively qualify you to work on friends, family and yourself and is the first step which every practitioner must take.
The course costs £140 and includes a light lunch.
Level 2 Reiki TBA
On this course you will be introduced to the Reiki symbols and to remote healing. The attunement to level 2 practitioner greatly increases your effectiveness as a healer and entitles you to offer healing to paying clients
The course costs £170 and includes a light lunch.
Reiki Deepening TBA
This is effectively a master level course without passing on the teaching part or enabling the practitioner to perform attunements. It is for those level 2 practitioners who wish to reach their full potential as healers and either don't feel that they are quite ready to take the step to master level or have no interest in teaching.
This course is a good way to "keep moving" after level 2. Many practitioners find the period between their level 2 and master attunements frustrating. We all tend to set off with a burning enthusiasm to learn it all as fast as possible, but to reach master level takes time. This is because you will undergo a series of changes and a deepening of understanding within yourself which simply cannot happen quickly. Most people will take a year or more before they are truly ready to progress to master level.
The course costs £170 and includes a light lunch. Students who have taken this course qualify for a £70 discount from the master level course.
Reiki Master TBA
This is a two day course at the end of which you will be ready to teach and to perform Reiki attunements. This marks the end of the first step on your Reiki journey!
The course costs £480 and includes a light lunch on each day.
* There are several "branches" or styles of Reiki healing, all of which can be traced directly to Dr Mikao Usui.
Seichem is a healing system which utilizes four different energies including Reiki, rather than the single Reiki energy. This can seem confusing because many feel that Reiki is the one true life force. Personally I don't find that they conflict. The energies can certainly feel different, but this could be interpreted as merely being due to different usage or transmission of the energy. After all, it feels a lot different when we use it for healing than it does when we use it for breaking planks of wood in martial arts.
A "standard" Reiki attunement is included in all Seichem attunements, the Reiki symbols are used in both and practitioners will receive certificates for both disciplines.
